Welcoming 2012

In less than a few hours, we will welcome 2012, I would like to wish everyone a very Happy New Year and continuously remind everyone to fill each and every day with optimism, enthusiasm and joyfulness.

It is not an easy task to make New Year resolutions and to stick by them, in fact it can be quite challenging. With our positive attitude, however we can overcome the fear of worrying about every little thing until it becomes big and boring and by then we are already disheartened. But the key is to learn from you past errors and press forward to achieving greater accomplishments.

We should all try to rise above the doubts and accept the transformation of a better self with composure and dignity. There is only one road to gathering the much needed courage to begin 2012 and that my friend is through your heart. The heart is the chaperon that guides you through the change by galvanizing your energies and engaging with all God’s creatures with as much love as possible.

We all need to positively give and receive gratitude and appreciation to everyone around us or at least try our best to acknowledge them. The more you stay within this territory, and share it through  compassionate relationships, carefree laughter, and a deep thankfulness for the life’s ways, you will glow and grow…

So, release all fear and embrace yourself!
Wishing everyone a very Happy 2012

Resolutions 2012

I guess I have been in the mood to take it easy with this tea cozy weather and that time of the year when all you can do is sit and look back  at what all have you achieved in the year gone by.. So let’s put it I have been very lazy and inactive for almost ten days but I have been planning for ahead.

With December here, I think it’s a good time to look forward to 2012 with our traditional resolution making as well as making some tributes, confessions, acceptances and appreciations.

So far for me, I have given some thought and I want to start my 2012 with some new goals, aims, targets, desires and ambitions. It is always nice to start with additional enthusiasm and more notably with some transparency. Has it ever occurred to you, why is it we wait until January 1 to start?

Well, calendar days speak so much of what we do, but why do we have to switch our behavior according to the dates (something I never understood)? For instance if you know that you’d like to cut down a few pounds (yeah, that’s me), why not just do it in October or November or December? Why wait until January 1st same applies to other personal goals regarding finances, learning, travelling, workplace, looks, habits…etc.

However, no matter what, I love the concept of beginning new things at the beginning of a New Year (for how long depends on our individual self and our commitment – but at least we can attempt). There is no better time to start but now!! A few random things I want to get done this coming year are like start on my gym, study (something /somehow), save more, blog more, give my creative side more efforts, Not to say a YES when i want to say a NO, Go to a retreat by myself – then becox I am such a good mom – take my son too !! Oh and get to work on time (or at least have my clothes ready the night before), for sure a negativity clean out , these all are small changes and yet I fall short staying on the right track.

Hope I can be a better person, hope I can let things go, hope I can put in efforts without thinking about the results and worry about what other people have to say if I fail in doing something right. Logically I know this is not correct, for any effort will yield some kind of result.

I believe we must all be committed, like it is the road map for our life and leave the GPS turned on at all times, so we can monitor if we are heading in the right direction. In the end all roads are interconnected and you are bound to find the right path.

So I am going to transition into 2012 and my resolutions are like my baggage, I need to look after them and make sure I do not lose them on the way or pray and hope no one steals them.

Resolution 2012:  Give myself enough room to move in diverse ways as needed and as God would lead. Accepting any new challenges and success are uniquely hush-hush and of my own meaning. But I would love to wish everyone success in fulfilling each one’s own Resolutions and go a long way!!

BTW I got my first crossword book for 2012 🙂 yesterday, I plan to do a page every day at least.
